Dure’s culture and investment philosophy are centered around its commitment to creating and preserving affordable housing for low, moderate, and middle-income residents, with the objective of revitalizing communities, stimulating economic growth, and enhancing social and economic mobility.   

FIRM OVERVIEW

Founded in 2022 by seasoned real estate professionals Christine Wendell and Rodrigo Da Silva, DIG provides hands-on real estate acquisition, asset management, operation, development, and financial structuring expertise with a track record of approximately $5B in transactions and over 25 years of combined experience across all property types.

DIG has extensive experience in the affordable housing space, with particular expertise in compliance and leasing, enabling its commitment to preserving affordable housing and creating long-term impact for tenants, and the communities it invests in. DIG’s transactional experience, broad network, and distinct skill sets allow the company to enhance affordable housing while providing investors with attractive risk-adjusted returns.

CHRISTINE WENDELL

Co-Founder and Principal

Christine Wendell is a Principal at DIG as well as the co-founder and CEO of Pronto Housing, an affordable housing leasing and compliance software and service solution with customers in more than 20 states. Christine promotes DIG’s strategic objectives through capital raising efforts and identifying high-potential opportunities through a vast network of affordable stakeholders, as well as institutional investors, family offices, and high-net-worth individuals.

She began her career in real estate with Wells Fargo Bank's credit training program. Christine then went on to hold notable positions in multifamily asset management at RXR Realty and Megalith Capital Management. Christine holds a BA in Economics and English from Kenyon College and an MBA from the Kellogg School of Management at Northwestern University. She was named
one of Business Insider’s 2021 Rising Stars of Real Estate, and on GlobeSt.com's Women of Influence list in 2022.

Rodrigo Da Silva is the Managing Principal at DIG, overseeing all investment and asset management responsibilities.  With over 15 years of investment experience, he has completed over $5B in both debt and equity transactions.  Prior to co-founding DIG, Rodrigo was a Senior Vice President at Customers Bank in the Real Estate Specialty Finance department where he implemented the launch of a note-on-note lending platform and executed over $400M of transactions.

Rodrigo’s career began at CBRE in the Investment Properties Institutional Group, where he focused on the sale of large-cap commercial transactions.  He later joined the Acquisitions group at Stellar Management, one of New York’s largest owner-operators of multi-family and affordable apartments, where he facilitated approximately $1B of transactions.  Rodrigo later transitioned into development where he led acquisitions for Megalith Capital Management.

 

Rodrigo received his Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from the Fisher College of Business at The Ohio State University with a dual concentration in Economics and Real Estate and Urban Analysis.
